Community (KIC) is located in Wujiaochang Sub-centre in the Yangpu
District which is home to over a dozen neighbouring major universities and colleges.
KIC covers approximately 840,000 sq.m. (84 hectares) of land... this city-core development
aims to create an environment that fosters technological innovation and
entrepreneurship similar to that of Silicon Valley in the United States to
provide a "Live-Work-Play" environment.
KIC places a strong emphasis on education, technology, culture, research and
business incubation... KIC's is a multi-functional community where people live, study, work and
relax.
KIC consists of four functionally distinct but complementary components:

KIC Plaza; provides office buildings, learning centres, exhibition halls,
conference facilities.
(2.)
KIC Village; provides comfortable apartments, offices, retail and recreational
facilities.
(3.)
KIC Tech Park; provides for the establishment of research and development
facilities for the hi-tech and digital industries.
(4.)
Jiangwan Sports Centre; provides multi-functional, all-weather integrated
sports complex.
